🌸 To celebrate Johanna Basford’s new book release, Wonderful Wildflowers, we’re coloring one of her free pages this week — and adding a twist!
It’s a Palette Challenge! Use this week’s dreamy combo of rose, light coral, champagne pink, pearl green, and olivine as your main colors to bring this magical mushroom cottage to life. 🍄
You can use any other shades you’d like, just make sure these five are the stars of your page!Â
Don’t have a printer? No worries! You can color any Johanna Basford page (or any design featuring wildflowers) and still join the fun.
Make sure to follow ALL the rules below!
- All posts must START with the hashtag “#AdultColoringChallenge” (if you put it at the end and It falls under the “see more,” we might not see it so it MUST be at the BEGINNING of your post!)
- If you don’t have a printer, you can use any coloring page you already have from a Johanna Basford book or any page with wildflowers
- All posts must credit the artist, book or publisher (without linking) that your page came from (if you use the supplied page credit Johanna Basford). All posts that use the supplied page will get an extra entry into the random drawing.
- You MUST use all colors in the supplied palette. You can also use any other shades but the 5 palette colors must be the most prominent.
- All posts/entries must include the media used (pencils, markers, gel pens, digital, etc — Although it is preferable, you don’t have to name the brand or show a pic of your pencils/markers but you MUST include the type of media you used at the very least.
- You must post on Sunday 11/16 noon to midnight EDT USA. Do not post earlier or later – otherwise IT WON’T COUNT! You can use dateful.com to figure out time zone conversion.

Winning Entries
Two winners will be announced on Thursday 11/20 by 8pm EDT (US). One will be selected randomly and one will be selected for having the most “likes.” Both of these winners will be given a $10 Amazon gift card (from Amazon US, CA, UK, ES, DE, IT or AU only). Only one entry per person and members cannot win two weeks in a row.Â
