#AdultColoringChallenge: Make This Look… Challenge

This week’s challenge features a free page from the wonderfully creative Make This Look Coloring Book by Jo Cocoa!
The concept is simple: start with the same blank character and transform it using a fun prompt. There are no right answers, and endless possibilities. Whether you love markers, pencils, gel pens, or digital coloring, this challenge is all about stretching your creativity and seeing how differently the same image can be interpreted.
Choose One (or Try All Three!) Prompts
Like a Fictional Character
Turn this little character into your favorite book, movie, TV, or video game personality. Will they become Dorothy, Wednesday Addams, Indiana Jones, Barbie, or someone completely unexpected?
Like It’s From a Specific Era
Travel through time! Give your character a look inspired by a decade or historical period. Think flapper fashion from the 1920s, groovy 1960s flower power, neon 1980s vibes, grunge 1990s style, or any era that inspires you.
Fancy
Go all out with glamour and elegance. Picture designer outfits, sparkling jewelry, luxurious fabrics, crowns, tuxedos, ball gowns, or whatever “fancy” means to you.

We are Jo (the human who draws the pictures) and Cocoa (the dog who tries to stop the human drawing the pictures, so she can stroke her instead) and our goal is to make coloring more inclusive and accessible.
We create coloring books that depict a diverse cast of relatable characters living their best lives. We also try to solve our own coloring problems, creating fun challenges, games, and activities that make it easier to color when you’re short of time, energy, and ideas.

RULES!
- All posts must START with the hashtag “#AdultColoringChallenge” (if you put it at the end and It falls under the “see more,” we might not see it so it MUST be at the BEGINNING of your post!)
- You must use this freebie page by Jo Cocoa.
- You must post the prompt that you used.
- You may enter up to 3 times (once for each prompt).
- All posts must credit Jo Cocoa.
- You can use any colors you want and any media you want.
- All posts/entries must include the media used (pencils, markers, gel pens, digital, etc — Although it is preferable, you don’t have to name the brand or show a pic of your pencils/markers but you MUST include the type of media you used at the very least.
- All pages must be colored THIS week and not a page that you previously posted.
- You must post on Sunday 6/7 noon to midnight EDT USA. Do not post earlier or later – otherwise IT WON’T COUNT! You can use dateful.com to figure out time zone conversion.

Winning Entries
Two winners will be announced on Sunday 6/14 by 8pm EDT (US). One will be selected randomly and one will be selected for having the most “likes.” All winners will be given a $10 Amazon gift card (from Amazon US, CA, UK, ES, DE, IT or AU only) and a copy of one of Jo Cocoa’s book from the artist. Up to three entries per person and members cannot win two weeks in a row.
