#AdultColoringChallenge: Greyscale Challenge

This week’s challenge is all about trying a greyscale coloring page and learning how to use the pre-shading to guide your coloring.
Have you ever tried a greyscale page? They can seem intimidating but really, greyscale pages can be a great way to build confidence with shading and blending because much of the light and shadow is already mapped out for you. They’re beginner friendly, relaxing, and fun to experiment with — even if you’ve never tried one before.
You can color this freebie from Lana Green Art, or choose any greyscale coloring page you already own, just please try to steer clear of AI images.
To qualify, follow all of the rules below! Your page must be newly colored this week for the challenge and not previously posted in the group. We do check entries to keep things fair for everyone.
No pressure, no judgment, and no comparisons. Just a fun chance to relax, color, and share your creativity with a supportive community.
RULES!
- All posts must START with the hashtag “#AdultColoringChallenge” (if you put it at the end and It falls under the “see more,” we might not see it so it MUST be at the BEGINNING of your post!)
- Your page must be a greyscale page – You can color the featured Lana Green Art page, or use any greyscale page of your choosing but PLEASE steer clear of AI pages!! If you’re unsure if your page is AI, message us on FB and we’ll let you know.
- All posts must credit the artist and or book.
- You can use any colors you want and any media you want.
- All posts/entries must include the media used (pencils, markers, gel pens, digital, etc — Although it is preferable, you don’t have to name the brand or show a pic of your pencils/markers but you MUST include the type of media you used at the very least.
- All pages must be colored THIS week and not a page that you previously posted.
- One submission per person. If you make a mistake on your post, edit your post DO NOT REPOST. Multiple posts make more work for admin and will disqualify you.
- You must post on Sunday 5/17 noon to midnight EDT USA. Do not post earlier or later – otherwise IT WON’T COUNT! You can use dateful.com to figure out time zone conversion.

Winning Entries
Two winners will be announced on Sunday 5/24 by 8pm EDT (US). One will be selected randomly and one will be selected for having the most “likes.” All winners will be given a $10 Amazon gift card (from Amazon US, CA, UK, ES, DE, IT or AU only). Only one entry per person and members cannot win two weeks in a row.
