#AdultColoringChallenge: Bokeh Challenge

This week, we’re creating a dreamy glow ✨ Your challenge is to bring this page to life using a bokeh effect—those soft, out-of-focus light circles that add depth, atmosphere, and a magical feel to your background.
For this challenge, everyone must use the featured page from Meg Sky’s new book Color Life. No substitutions this week!
You can follow along with a tutorial from Norma Wolf’s Facebook post in our group, or experiment with your own technique to build that soft, glowing effect. Whether you go subtle and pastel or bold and vibrant, the goal is to make your page feel luminous and full of light.
About the Artist:
Meg Sky (member of our group!) is a mother of three, whom she uses to get ideas for her next coloring books, but prefers the term “networking”. When she’s not drawing or coloring, she screams at strangers to color her books. She makes funny coloring books that are meant to make you smile, and coloring practice books to help you improve your skills (or at least she tries). RULES!
- All posts must START with the hashtag “#AdultColoringChallenge” (if you put it at the end and It falls under the “see more,” we might not see it so it MUST be at the BEGINNING of your post!)
- You must use this page (no substitutions this week).
- All posts must credit the artist (Meg Sky)
- You can use any colors you want and any media you want BUT you MUST add a bokeh effect!
- All posts/entries must include the media used (pencils, markers, gel pens, digital, etc — Although it is preferable, you don’t have to name the brand or show a pic of your pencils/markers but you MUST include the type of media you used at the very least.
- All pages must be colored THIS week and not a page that you previously posted.
- One submission per person. If you make a mistake on your post, edit your post DO NOT REPOST. Multiple posts make more work for admin and will disqualify you.
- You must post on Sunday 5/3 noon to midnight EDT USA. Do not post earlier or later – otherwise IT WON’T COUNT! You can use dateful.com to figure out time zone conversion.

Winning Entries
Two winners will be announced on Saturday 5/9 by 8pm EDT (US). One will be selected randomly and one will be selected for having the most “likes.” All winners will be given a $10 Amazon gift card (from Amazon US, CA, UK, ES, DE, IT or AU only). Only one entry per person and members cannot win two weeks in a row.
