Randi colored these three creations with markers and Prismacolor pencils with gel pen and pastel backgrounds.

Linda Woltil Allison  used Prismacolor Premier, Koh-I-Noor, & Castle Arts colored pencils with  LePlumme dual tip brush/fineliners for the two images above. She said, “I had alot of fun with this one!  A chance to use so many bright and beautiful colors! And a cat! I love coloring cats!”

Brenda Mesta completed the image on the above left with Castle Art colored pencils. “I Try to mix 2 colors per piece, and try to degrade them so that the combination of colors is more pleasing to the eye, for example in the leaves or in the petals of the roses.” Ilona Szajnicka used Polychromos, Prismacolor Premier, Derwent Procolour, white Uni Posca, white Uni-ball Signo, and a black FC Grip Finepen to complete the page on the above right. You can see her progression coloring this page by viewing her instagram post .

Cher Renee used different media in all three of the images above.  On the first, she used used Arteza, Prisma Premier color pencils and soft chalk pastel for the background. On the middle picture, she  colored with Caran D Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle, and some Ohuhu markers on a small portion of this page. The last picture of the mouse, sh used Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, Glitter Markers (not very visible), and Inktense Blocks for the wall.

Randi Jameson

About the Artist: Randi Jameson

Randi Jameson has been an artist all her life, selling her first oil painting at the age of twelve and making more money than her dad that week!  “I created a career as an independent agent of many media for the next fifty years- Developing a ceramic hobby into a development studio and production factory with art classes.”  Randi’s Plaster Faire was well known for 37 years in southern California. While providing products delivered nationwide with three franchises, her written articles for trade magazines and annual trade shows brought her from hobbyist to nationwide artist. Randi is a member of the Adult Coloring Facebook group and spends a lot of her free time coloring.  “I use all media in coloring but primarily markers (sharpie ecoline, concept , spectrum noir), colored pencils (Prismacolor, Black Widow), and gel pens (Sakura moonlight). Generally, I reprint on smooth cardstock or various scrapbook papers. Personally I prefer drawings with not too many bold size lines, and quirky work that hasn’t been digitized too death. I want to see that personal touch like Johanna Basford or Kerby Rosanes or Tatiana Bogema. Click here to see her coloring work.
